Pericles, Prince of Tyre

Pericles, Prince of Tyre
Rochester Community Players will entertain audiences at the Highland Park Bowl this summer with its 27th Shakespeare in the Park production: “Pericles, Prince of Tyre” directed by Kathryn Rebholz. Performances will be every night at 8:00 p.m. from July 11 to 27, 2024, with the exception of Mondays and Tuesdays (or inclement weather).

Synopsis:

While on a quest to win a princess, Prince Pericles finds mortal peril instead. Fleeing his homeland, Pericles’ travels lead him on adventures full of gallantry, love, and hardship. Years later, his long-lost daughter Marina faces her own adventures that include surviving many challenges and even escaping death. Yet this story of death threats and bravery, shipwrecks and pirates eventually leads to a surprisingly happy ending!
