Centennial Honor Roll
The Rochester Community Players Centennial Honor Roll was created to recognize and remember people who have been an important part of supporting RCP in countless ways throughout its long history.
During our first 100 seasons, there have been many things to celebrate as well as significant challenges to overcome, including the Great Depression soon after RCP staged its first show! World War II took many volunteers overseas and closed many community theatres elsewhere…but RCP continued producing shows featuring local talent and entertaining local audiences.
There would be other types of challenges throughout ten decades but each one was conquered by people who believed in Rochester Community Players as an important part of Rochester’s cultural scene!
